"What?" Jensen looks at Jared like he had grown a second head. "Don't we get enough playing dress up on set?"

"Yeah, but I don't want you to be Dean...I want you to be Van Helsing. In costume."

Jared gives Jensen his best puppy eyes, knowing the man can't say no to them. "Please?"

A few nights later Jensen finds himself dressed like Van Helsing, feeling like a grade A douche as he rings his own doorbell.

When Jared answers the door he starts in on his role. He's an actor, he can do this. "I'm Van Helsing, what seems to be the problem here?"

"I'm cursed. I have been alive for over 200 years and only you can save me." Jared states playing his role as well.

"How can I save you?" Jensen asks with a lascivious grin.

"The legend states that I can be saved, turned back to a mortal in only two ways. One is to kill my creator, the second is m=by your magical dick inside me." Jared says with a sly grin. "I don't know who turned me, so that leaves you to save me."

Jensen laughs, "magical cock huh? Have to say, I haven't heard that one before."

"Oh,but it is. However you are supposed to leave everything on, only your cock out for it to work."

"We better get to it then." Jensen groans inwardly...he doesn't remember agreeing to wear the costume WHILE fucking into Jared, and he unties his britches so he can get his hard shaft out.

"Undress, get on the bed." Jensen tells him.

Jensen rolls off Jared and reties his brtiches. "I hope that helped you sir. I'll be leaving now." He says as he walks out the bedroom door.

He goes to the guest room and changes back into his clothes. Comfy pyjama pants and a T before heading back into his and Jared's bedroom. Jared is still lying on the bed on his stomach when he gets there.

"Jay, you okay baby? I didn't hurt you did I?"

"I'm fine, never better actually. Now, come here."

They spend the rest of the night in bed wrapped up in each other watching, what else? Van Helsing. This may not have been Jensen's favorite idea of Jared's, but if he had to admit it to himself...it was fun.

...the scariest day of my life. Or at least the scariest seconds of it. We were at my aunts house for a party celebrating my cousins visiting for the first time in 3 years. Z and N were swimming in the pool with floaties on since they can't swim without. N asked to take his off and I said not without an adult IN the pool with him, so he talked my BIL into getting back in with him. D wasn't swimming and I can't because I got pierced a few weeks ago-with the amount of babies in the pool I wasn't risking it!

Anyways cut forward about an hour. N has his floaties back on, and they are playing happily along. Then Z gets off the whale thing he was riding on and proceeds to go under. Repeatedly. We were right at the pool and as soon as D saw he was actually going under and not playing in he went clothes, shoes, phone, key and all. Z had taken his floaties off without 1. asking and 2. telling anyone. I keep telling him that until he learns to SWIM he CANNOT take them off for anything. I know they are not life jackets, but they DO help keep his head above water.

Thankfully everything was okay, D was fast acting, and I didn't completely lose my mind last night.

Because of this though I am making a PSA to all my friends. If you read nothing else I post, ever again...WATCH THIS VIDEO. LEARN THE SIGNS OF DROWNING.

I know I'm preaching to the choir with you guys when it comes to LGBT equality, but believing something is fair and actually getting off your bum and doing something about it doesn't always follow like it should. So here's a little (and slightly preachy) reminder!!

Three things I'd like you all to do before you go to bed tonight (if you haven't already)

1/ Go here and sign the C4EM's petition for marriage equality. This is the simplest and probably most visible way to show your support. It currently has 60,000 signatures -- the petition against (by C4M) has over 500,000!!!

2/ Go here and fill out the government's consultation. It might take a little bit longer, but you can bet that for every pro-person who doesn't find the time, there will be dozens of 'anti' people who will.

3/ Email your MP. There's a handy template there for you to use so you don't even have to think of what to say. Also, you can go here to see where your MP stands on the issue. A hugely important thing to do because the majority of MPs will be voting with their conscience rather than following the party line, so make sure you let yours know your feelings.

4/ Okay, so I lied. There's actually a fourth thing. And that is simply spread the word. The consultation ends in two day - it's our last chance to get as many people mobilised as possible. So tweet it, Facebook, blog it, beat your friends and family around the head with it until they give in!!! And if you want to repost to your own journal (and please feel free to edit), here's an ever-so helpful button

Edited to add my own thoughts (not part of the original reddit call for action): And if you do not feel like taking a total break and perhaps want just a trial separation or couple's counseling, then perhaps consider Black March Lite 2.0 = spend, but spend money on those content creators and independent retailers who came out against SOPA/PIPA. And tell them why you're buying their products in March. There are many of them.

And for those who favor the more targeted boycott, you can find info here. But no matter which, you can participate and you can tailor your level of participation. We have the tools, the will and the strength to take a stand.

If you don't want to participate that is fine too. As it has been said though it is easy to participate by only supporting those who DON'T support Sopa/PIPA. Think about it. The UNITED STATES government is trying to control the internet, not only in the States, but EVERYWHERE. Don't give them that power. Once they get one thing, they will go for more. These people are supposed to be working for us, and they do not listen to their constituents. Fight back for your rights to a free internet!

I was gonna update this with much happier stuff, but for the past week I've just been so enraged with LJ's asshattery that I've had it to here.

In case you didn't know, on 12/12 they first announced sneakily on the Russian journal of LJ's design guy that with new changes being implemented tomorrow, there will be no more subject lines in comments and that this change was "non-negotiable" (good round-up and translation here). I'm sure you all realize that this will basically make fandom and RP communities unusable. LJ's staff, however, doesn't give a shit. At least 18 pages of 100% negative feedback didn't sway them.

They've backpedaled some and will make keeping comment subject lines optional in some S2 styles, but the default (that 99% of communities are running right now) will decidedly be subject-less! Not to mention that their new and frankly, fucking ugly design will take forever to load and make the site a pain to use on mobile browsers.

And oh, it looks like they might be taking away the drop-down menu to select icons as well, so you'll have to load all your icons as pictures to select them. Lovely. (I will beta-test tonight to see if this is actually true.)

Really, I don't know why I'm surprised. LJ is always fucking with the parts of the site that actually work and breaking them, so this is just another instance of that. Because seriously, who are subject lines hurting by just being there? (And no, it can't be a matter of server strain, considering the new "graphic" interface will definitely be using up more resources - so much fun when there's DDoS attacks!)
As far as I know, they've never once listened to their customers, so those thousands of comments already posted probably won't do shit. I've left a message expressing my concerns about the new comment pages here anyway; so if you want to do that too, go for it! If anything, it helps with the rage. ;)

FYI: Dreamwidth ~~is feeling Christmasy~~ has reacted to LJ's bullshit and has open account creation (no invite codes needed) for the rest of the week. Might be a good idea to get your back-up or new home, whatever the case may be, up and running now.

First things first it was a GREAT show....and thanks to my wonderful friend Melissa I got to MEET (and get a hug from) CK. OMG he is the BEST hugger ever. And he smells sooooooooooooooooo good. No aftershave or anything, just him. I died a bit.

I believed it. Had no reason not to. Unless I heard that people only know the story via Twitter and FB. No evidence in the news anywhere. I felt sick for even thinking that it could be a fake, but then I did an image search. There were pics of "Tyler" and "Josh" posted. In a friend's LJ. A friend who was outraged and - like me - had no reason not to believe the story.

She posted today that it's all a lie. That there is no Tyler Ryans in the hospital where his "boyfriend" said he is. And the pics? See for yourself.

I and many others because of me have been the victim of a very sick hoax.

My friend who I originally came into contact with Tyler and Josh has been doing research. He has many contacts in AB, most in Edmonton itself.

There have been no reports of anyone with the last name of Ryans arrested recently...and there is no Tyler Ryans in the hospital Josh said he was in.

I am fucking sick over this.

All the posts regarding him will be deleted.

I am so sorry. Things like this are why I stopped trusting and caring about people in the first place. Guess I need to go back into that box.

Mississippi is voting on November 8th on whether to pass Amendment 26, the "Personhood Amendment". This amendment would grant fertilized eggs and fetuses personhood status.

Putting aside the contentious issue of abortion, this would effectively outlaw birth control and criminalize women who have miscarriages. This is not a good thing.

Jackson Women's Health Organization is the only place women can get abortions in the entire state, and they are trying to launch a grassroots movement against this amendment. This doesn't just apply to Mississippi, though, as Personhood USA, the group that introduced this amendment, is trying to introduce identical amendments in all 50 states.

What's more, in Mississippi, this amendment is expected to pass. It even has Mississippi Democrats, including the Attorney General, Jim Hood, backing it.

The reason I'm posting this here is because I made a meager donation to the Jackson Women's Health Organization this morning, and I received a personal email back hours later - on a Sunday - thanking me and noting that I'm one of the first "outside" people to contribute.

So if you sometimes pass on political action because you figure that enough other people will do something to make a difference, make an exception on this one. My RSS reader is near silent on this amendment. I only found out about it through a feminist blog. The mainstream media is not reporting on it.

If there is ever a time to donate or send a letter in protest, this would be it.

What to do?

- Read up on it. Wake Up, Mississippi is the home of the grassroots effort to fight this amendment. Daily Kos also has a thorough story on it.

- If you can afford it, you can donate at the site's link.

- You can contact the Democratic National Committee to see why more of our representatives aren't speaking out against this.

- Like this Facebook page to help spread awareness.
